Planetshakers
Em 2000, nasceu em Adelaide, Austrália, o Ministério de Louvor Planetshakers.
Era um grupo sem intenção de ficar conhecidos. Apenas queriam demostrar
seu amor a Deus. Em 2004, por sua vez, foi fundada a Planetshakers Church,
em Melbourne, sul da Austrália.
Planetshakers City Church
Em outubro de 2002, através de Atos 1:8 (Mas recebereis a virtude do
Espírito Santo, que há de vir sobre vós; e ser-me-eis testemunhas, tanto
em Jerusalém como em toda a Judéia e Samaria, e até aos confins da terra.),
Russell e Sam Evans, pastores da Igreja, receberam de Deus a ordem de
criar um espaço onde o Espírito Santo agiria sobrenaturalmente. Obedecendo
a Deus, criaram, então, a Planet Shakers Church, em Melbourne, Austrália.
Deus começou então, sobrenaturalmente, reunir pessoas para continuar
este grande trabalho. A igreja começou com apenas 12 membros, que a
fizeram crescer rapidadamente por chamar a atenção na dinâmica com que
levavam a palavra de Deus. O objetivo da igreja é a criação de uma geração
de verdadeiros adoradores.
Conferências
O Planetshakers promove conferências anuais que passam pelos estados
Australianos: Perth, Brisbane, Sydney e Melbourne.A primeira conferência
foi realizada em Adelaide (1997).
Em 2008, a conferência aconteceu em Melbourne na Vodafone Arena (2 a
5 Janeiro); Brisbane (7 a 10 Janeiro) no Brisbane Convention Centre;
Sydney (9 a 12 Janeiro) a Sydney Olympic Park in the Sports Centre (Centro
de Jogo esportivos do Estado); e finalmente em Perth (15 a 18 Janeiro)
no Challenge Stadium.
Em 2009, a 'Planetshakers conference' será transferida para abril, em
vez de janeiro como em todos os últimos anos.
Turnês
A cada ano, a Banda Planetshakers faz uma turnê internacional. Já passaram
por Hong Kong, no Australian Gospel Music Festival, em Toowoomba, na
Malás
